"SUSTAINABLES" AT SIAB 2007: AN ECOLOGICAL BREAD OVEN

From wood to bread by way of the oven. A practical demonstration of the potential of agro-energy.
Unusual aspects, sustainable energy, the market and Bakery, Pastry, Confectionery, Fresh Pasta and Pizza get together at VeronaFiere during SIAB. Visitors will be able to watch the entire cycle of the agro-energy value chain, from fibre to the production of pellets by compressing wood, through to baking bread and oven products with machinery "powered" by products from Larus, a Cremona-based company specialising in the production of high quality pellets.
"We will clearly demonstrate that results are unaffected for master bakers. Quite simply, energy costs are significantly reduced."
The practical demonstration will be joined twice a day by a discussion forum focusing on sustainable energy topics.
Innovation, economy and Bakery, Pastry, Confectionery, Fresh Pasta and Pizza “grow together” at SIAB.
